Some stories can be spooky, when we first hear of them. If we look closely however, they may not be as scary as they seem.
When I saw this story, I was shocked because it never occurred to be that people can take up the responsibility of ‘disposing’ of their old organs, after they get new ones. I’ve always assumed hospitals and medical authorities handle such things.
Sharon Fidel received a transplant three months ago, when she was given the heart of a 16-year-old who died in a car crash.

The 46-year-old, from Israel, posted a video on Facebook which shows her digging a hole for her old organ.
She is seen taking the heart out of a bucket in the back of her car.
Ms Fidel’s hands were trembling so much that it took several attempts to remove it from the bucket before placing it a hole she’d dug in the ground.
